All new redesigned Bactron400HP anaerobic chamber system with an airlock, a 19.8 cu. ft. workspace and a 400-plate capacity incubator grant the BACTRON400HP delivers maximum productivity in a compact space. The operator will have total command of the work area with ample bench space for the efficient performance of all practices requiring an anaerobic atmosphere.
Our BACTRON systems have an airtight construction of stainless steel and rigid acrylic glass for unobstructed vision and integrity. Also, the unit cuffs form a comfortable seal around the operator’s arms to allow bare-hand manipulation of plates and specimens inside the working chamber, making research labor more ergonomic and efficient.
When sitting undisturbed at a steady state, a BACTRON typically rests at lower than 4.7 parts per million oxygen in the workspace chamber. The chamber atmosphere circulates through a condensate controller and then through a catalyst, which removes any trace amounts of oxygen. The high relative humidity is maintained while condensate moisture is removed without the unnecessary desiccants, which can dehydrate media and samples. Each unit contains an integral vacuum pump to provide rapid evacuation of air from the airlock module for replacement by an inert gas mixture.
We take customer safety seriously. Unlike many anaerobic chambers that do not carry any safety mark or are self-certified internally (CE marked), the BACTRON family of chambers carries full third-party verified safety compliance certificates. Our anaerobic chambers meet EN61010, UL61010, and Can/CSA61010 standards.
Every Bactron400HP includes standard features that improve productivity, reproducibility, and sample protection and security. Those design elements include:
